“…Sounds like Alice in Chains having a boxing match with Pearl Jam and knocking them out in round three after a nasty clash of heads when working to the body….”
Paul Steel - Brighton, England (Apr 2, 2006)
“Rock out! Rockin’ guitars . Great vocals. Rockin’ song. Straight forward rocker. I like it. The band sounds great - drums, bass, guitars, vocals… all of it.”
Charlie Sam - Glen Mills, Pennsylvania (Apr 24, 2006)
“Man, what a big wall of guitars…Song is an odd mixture of tough guy stuff and delicate melody. As a result, it could have the potential to reach more folks…”
- Brampton, Ontario, Canada (Apr 22, 2006)
“A good, rocking song with great arrangement and dynamics. Intro is great … though the drums start simple the guitars and bass come roaring in with a great riff. The bass melody is a great counterpoint to the lyrics in the first part of the verse. Very solid rhythm section showcases excellent drums and bass. Drummer knows when to lay back and let the mood build. Guitars are strong with some interesting effects and technique at 2:08. Growling vocal is totally in sync and fitting to the temperament of the song.”
- St. Petersburg, Florida (Apr 13, 2006)
“I must say that I love your voice; it definitely fits for the style of music, the kind of grindy Creed meets Coldplay voice. The background vocals are also tastefully done.
Interesting chord progression, something a little different, but not totally strange. We need more bands like this that are not afraid to veer from the norm.”
Joe Kye of “Major Major Major” - New Haven, Connecticut (Apr 12, 2006)
“Pearl Jam vibe… The vocalist reminds me of a mix of the guy from 3 Doors Down, and Brian Johnson from AC/DC… Very neat!”
- Waterloo, Iowa (Apr 11, 2006)
“Chorus is catchy and powerful; unique solo done over that distorted riff…This is a great song.
I try not to say original because that’s really a musically obsolete term, so how about very creative and diverse?”
Christopher Scum of “The Dirty Works” - Knoxville, Tennessee (Apr 9, 2006)
“The two on-beat guitar riffs that are used for verse and chorus could have been really simple sounding, but work excellent thanks to excellent drumming. The drumming is pivotal in its driving role. The result is a fascinating and unusual kind of forward-leaning song.”
Lasse Thornström - Stockholm, Sweden (Apr 8, 2006)
“Open with 4 bars of a well recorded, solid drum beat; kicks in with a hard hitting non-cliched, groovey riff, backs off slightly when the vocals kick in. At times the vocals sound like the bloke from Audioslave. Great, catchy chorus reminding me slightly of Nickelback. Great, solid, melodic bass playing, never missing his queue. All instruments contributed to an unmuffled wall of sound. The guitar solo could be a little louder, but fair play to the guitarist, he knows the importance of groove… After a cymbal explosion, nice suprise acoustic guitar at the end.
Very professionally performed & recorded!”
- Snowyland, Iceberg, United Kingdom (Apr 8, 2006)
“Kind of a poppy beat which I’m loving. The drums are pretty solid and I didn’t hear any slip ups. I think the vocals blend perfectly into this song.”
- Golden Valley, Minnesota (Apr 7, 2006)
“The distorted guitar works really well, and the shape of the riff goes exactly where you want it to…The lyric “you wrote me a book but you burned all the pages” is a really original turn of phrase…The scratching on the strings also adds interest successfully, and reminds me of a few Radiohead techniques…
Jill Twigger - Bowral, Australia (Apr 6, 2006)
“Cool drumming!… I’m liking this one… Bit of a groove happening here… A++… I’m liking it a whole lot, I tell ya. Can’t put my finger on who it sounds like, but it’s very good!”
Trigger Moose (Apr 5, 2006)
“Catchy…Everything in this song fits together well, and the group has some obvious talent and experience playing as a band. The recording is clear, and every part comes out well-balanced and easily understood…Another thing I like was the bass line. It’s not easy to find a song where you can hear the bassline, and even harder to find one where the bassline fits within the song, and adds that extra little something… Very nice song. It’s catchy, and the vocal melody really got stuck in my head.”
