My eye is itchy. Very, very itchy…

I’m hanging out this week in a little town in central Florida called Orlando. I’m sure you’ve never heard of it, but it’s a cool place.

I’m staying with Jeremy Tomlinson, a friend of mine from college. He’s the funniest man alive and we’ve been laughing non stop ever since I got here yesterday. He also owns a live concert production company called Rec Tec Live. His whole house is filled with recording equipment, instruments, and Mac computer stuff. It’s sorta like heaven…

JT has a dog named Bama (by the way, ROLL TIDE over Arkansas. Awesome game.) that lives in the house. I’m not normally allergic to dogs, but apparently, I am allergic to Bama. My right eye is itchy and watery and it might fall out. I can’t be sure at this point…
itchy eye at JT’s
Last night I played an acoustic set at Metro Church here in Orlando. I was joined on stage by JT and his girlfriend Crystal, who sings with a group called Shades of Green. She’s got an incredible voice.

When I showed up to play, it turned out that on old friend of mine from college named Jeremy Kughn was the young adults minister; I had no idea until I showed up, so it made a cool reunion. I loved this church. They bought an old grocery store and converted it into a church/school/coffee house. It’s really sleek and cool looking; easily one of the coolest church buildings I’ve ever been in. I can’t wait to come back down here some time and play a big concert with Boochie Shepherd.

I’ve got today and tomorrow off, and then I have 3 shows in a row before I fly back to north Alabama. If you’re in the Orlando area, come and check it out. The show locations are all on the calendar. JT is gonna be playing each show with me while I’m here, so it’s a chance for you to see a show that you won’t normally get to see.
