I had so much fun last night. It was great spending the day at Maywood. It was so hot, though. The heat index was 108, and that’s just ridiculous, especially when your concert is at an outdoor amphitheatre. But the crowd really made it worth the heat. They were amazing, which is cool since these people really didn’t know who we were. We even had some kids down on the floor in front of us breakdancing, as well as “bouncers” keeping people away from the stage area. And it was very nice to see all the Boochie Hoochies (you know who you are) in the crowd going nuts and keeping it crunk for us. At this point I am gonna pause and pose the following question: how do you actually spell “crunk”? It could be “krunk”; am I right? I feel much more comfortable spelling it with a “c”, but DJ Hollywood here in Decatur has a trailer on which he boasts that he’s “da krunkest.” This is hard! I am in a pickle!
