Hartselle and PZO

Me and Lindsey and the Keller packed up and drove out to Hartselle tonight to see Point Zero One. They were doing a little acoustic set at the same park that we played at last week. They were good. Fanning has got a nice, smooth voice, but I think that the guitar player has got an even better voice than Fanning does. Anyways, right at the end of the set, they asked me to come up and play a few. I played “All the King’s Horses”, “Pull My String”, and “I’ll Come Around”; all new stuff that will be on the next CD. Everybody really liked it, or so it seemed. In fact, the ladies that run the concert series asked if Boochie would come and play for Depot Days there on September 17. She said they had somewhere between 18,000 and 20,000 last year. Pretty awesome. She also said it was ranked as one of the top 20 events in the southeast. I said, “By whom?” I don’t think she knew… Then she said something about some lumberjacks and a dog rolling on logs in the water. I didn’t get it….

Hey everybody! This is your old buddy, Hood, checking in. The two shows we played yesterday for Winston County High School and Double Springs Middle School were great to say the least. The crowd at both shows was absolutely deafening. We love performing for such energetic fans. We want to give a special thanks to Mrs. Baker for inviting us and supplying us with Mountain Dew. Everyone had a great time, and that is what it is all about. We also want to congratulate all of the talent show winners. You did a fantastic job yesterday in front of all of your peers. Keep up the good work! We hope to see all of you at a show this summer. Maybe we can get back over to Double Springs in the near future because you guys are great. Check the calendar at www.boochieshepherd.com to see when we will be in your area again.
